Riley Carney replied to one of my tweets!

Talk about star struck. Riley Carney, author of the Reign of the Elements series, which includes her books, The Fire Stone, The Water Stone, The Wind Stone, The Immortality Scroll, and The Final Alliance is one of the most exciting fantasy novel series I have read in ages. Her flow reminds me of the Age of the Sigil TV books series by 711 Press. I cannot believe she now knows who I am :) Maybe she'll read my Werecat Saga (Feral, Rabid, Nocturnal) and become a fan. Here's hoping.

If you haven't read Riley Carney, but you're a fan of good fantasy, you're seriously missing out.

I'm still shocked that an author I admire pays any attention to Twitter. You rock, Riley!

Really Into Riley Carney Novels Right Now

I read Riley Carney's Fire Stone and Water Stone, books I & II of the Reign of the Elements series over a year ago, but kind of got off track. Now I see she's knocked out five books. Way to go, Riley! So, I've just bought them all for my Kindle and have started reading them all over again. If it weren't for Melvyn Riley, the 711 Press author who wrote Age of the Sigil--and who is now working on the Movie Book series, SpitFire, which is an eight-book epic, sort of like Harry Potter meets Dungeons and Dragons--I might beg 711 Press to let me tackle the world of wizards and warriors. But, I can't complain too much, I do own the 711 patent of the YA apocalyptic titles ;)

Anyhoo, for those of you who liked Age of the Sigil, or for those who are into Lord of the Rings, Shannara type reads, check out Riley Carney's Reign of the Elements series.  You won't be disappointed.
