And We're Back . . .

After a brief break from the hectic publishing schedule of last year, we decided to give our authors a break and allow them to catch up on outstanding material. Well the break is over folks, and we've got a lot of good stuff coming this year. Age of the Sigil will see a double-season launch (that's 2 mega omnibuses to replace the single-episode we've ceased doling out as of last year). Also look for Roger Vallon's third Kill Factor entry titled Death Strike, and offerings from a couple new authors we've signed. Ronald Coleborn's Legends of the Dread Realm saga also continues with Dragon's Tyranny. Phoenix Earth Season two will come on the heals of the season one omnibus release, and Order of 5ive and Mafiosi both get new seasons this year, but you won't have to wait week after week to read the eps., 'cause we're launching them Netflix style. So let the fun begin folks.

Kill Factor Sales Bump

Thanks to James LaFleur for the kind mention last week. In a recent blog post James tied my Kill Factor series into the new Jeremy Renner spy-thriller The Bourne Legacy and it resulted in a sales bump, which I do appreciate. Thanks to all those who purchased both books over the weekend in tandem with the movie release. Hope you enjoy!

For the rest of you, it isn't too late to join in. Kill Factor and Kill Factor: Serpent Head are avaible for sale now. That said, I gotta add that this is why we write this stuff, for lovers of movies & TV. You like your entertainment short, sweet, and to the point. That where 711 Press comes in. Any Kill Factor book (in fact any of our movie books) won't take you more than an hour and a half or two hours to complete, tops. I'm so spoiled by that fact that I find to hard to read much else. I either read shorter works or magazines and newspapers nowadays, because time truly is of the essence, and people have lives to live. But we also like to read.

So try the Kill Factor series and join in on the fun!

Thanks.

The Bourne Legacy and Kill Factor

Just a reminder folks, if you're going to see The Bourne Legacy this weekend, you have got to, GOT TO check out Roger Vallon's Kill Factor, which was written specifically for fans of this genre. I read both books in the series so far (Kill Factor and Kill Factor: Serpent Head) and can tell you that they rock!!! You get loads of spy action, government experimentation and corporate double-dealing complete with super agents bent on killing one another over an advanced, nextgen chip that could very well be a game-changer. Great stuff!

I'll be seeing the movie this weekend, and I'll probably be digging into Kill Factor again since they're short, quick, and very entertaining reads, truly being movies in book form. And hey, I ain't just signing the guy's praises because he's a fellow author signed with the same publishing co. I'm signed with. No. His books are really that good to me. If you're truly a spy action, espionage thriller fan you'll pick 'em up.

And here's to many more films like Bourne Legacy. I live for that stuff. Matt Damon has said that he's willing to come back for another go around, perhaps with the fifth entry in the series that would be headlined by Jeremy Renner, and that would be a dream. Hoping that happens.

The Bourne Legacy Trailer is HOT!

So by now, everyone should know I'm a movie fanatic, right? Marvel's The Avengers put me over the top when I took that feast in (cinematic greatness, folks). Heroism, action set pieces, thrills, spills, double dealings, a bit of romance, you name it, it had it. Well, after seeing The Hurt Locker a while back, I instantly became a huge Jeremy Renner fan, and I've followed his career path ever since. Not only is he the current go to guy for action, he's figuring into the tailored espionage slot to the point of typecasting and oversaturation, but who's complaining. After co-headlining Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, the man is now the current replacement or stand-in for Matt Damon's Bourne franchise.

It seems from the above trailer that the events in Legacy coincide with those of the previous Bourne film, Ultimatum, hence Damon's mug on the news feeds and references to him being in Manhattan. Aaron Cross, played by Renner, is another Treadstone agent we're introduced to, one is apparently running for his life following the public exposure of Treadstone via Jason Bourne. This forces Ed Norton's character to put out a kill directive on all remaining Treadstone agents, thus begins the current action in Legacy, which strikes me as something out of a Roger Vallon Kill Factor book. Looks quite thrilling.

Kill Factor: Serpent Head Launches!

So thrilled to see the book's release today, Friday, April 27th! It's another Movie Book Friday, folks! And this time we invite you to the world of Kill Factor. Get ready for decadence Monte Carlo style, and thrills, chills, and spy action that will pump you up for more books in this ongoing series. Spring is more like summer with Serpent Head, so picture yourself on a beach with this book in hand and lose yourself in a convoluted espionage plot that will whisk you away from reality for about 2 hours.

In this installment, rogue agent Hadrian Black is sent to Geneva in an attempt to uncover the hidden players behind Redrum Industries, but trouble follows him when Redrum's home-grown spies corner our hero in the field. Meanwhile Magenta, the newest recruit (and the latest agent to be snatched right from the government's clutches and Redrum itself) is dispatched to exquisite Monte Carlo, where she attempts to finagle intel from one of Redrum's elite while immersing herself in the pampered Monaco lifestyle. According to 711 Press, this is the sexiest Kill Factor entry so far, and it has to be with Magenta at the center of the story. We also meet a new sleeper with a standard Principate call sign and color code, Trajan Cobalt, and a lot is revealed in short order before all is said and done.

So lose yourself in this latest Movie Book and let us know what you think! Check out Serpent Head here.

New Sample Chapters

Sample chapters for Nocturnal and Kill Factor: Serpent Head are now up.

For those of you who haven't been keeping up, Nocturnal is the final book in Jami Lynn Saunders' Werecat Saga, a thrilling post-apocalyptic series that features a young female heroine infected with a feline virus that enables her to morph into a hybrid snow leopard at will. Ferocious enemies stalk her at every turn, but she is determined to trek across the barren wastelands of a devastated future United States in search of a safehold for her kind.

Kill Factor is an ongoing series that features a band of rogue super agents headed by two disgruntled geniuses; their aim? the ultimate destruction of a private corporation that was once home to a secret government spy program known as Redrum. Now Redrum is a modern-day multi-national conglomerate with its hands in practically everything, though it has never reliquished itself of the spy program the government once hid.

Action and intrigue abound in these edge-of-your-seat action spy yarns, and the latese entry, Kill Factor: Serpent Head, is no exception.

So check out the sample chapters for Nocturnal and Kill Factor: Serpent Head and start your journey today. You'll probably want to start at the beginning, however. So the first books in these two series, Feral and Kill Factor, are required reading!
