Amanda Hocking Deserves a Movie Deal

As I've said before, I've never read an Amanda Hocking book until some of my fans mentioned that my Werecat Saga reminded them of Amanda Hocking's Hollowland and Hollowmen books. So, I snatched them up and started reading. They were quick, exciting reads and I devoured them in only a few hours, though they had twice as many pages as any of my books. I got to admit, it did freak me out when I read the first book, everyone having gone mad from a virus, seeing the team travel across the desert, running into a lion. A little ucanny that Feral had a few similarities, albeit told in a different light and from a different angle.

Anyhoo, after watching the Hunger Games movie, I am in movie mode. I'd LOVE to see Hollowland released on the big screen ... though I'd prefer to see Feral hit the big screen first [hint, hint] in case some big movie producer is reading my little blog post, ^_^

Since all 711 Press books are written in a cinematic way already, they would be easy to translate to the screen. Just saying....

D.N.A.

Wow, 711 has kept me busy. FYI, my next Movie Book, D.N.A. is completed and I'm already on to two new trilogies. I'm not allowed to release the names of the books or divulge any information at this point because we're well over a year away from release. Daniel and Jaime said I write like an animal and it's now time to pace the releases. I just giggled at their response :) For my readers, I promise it will be worth the wait. The two new trilogies are similar to the Werecat Saga, but unique in their own way, and I believe they will be enough to keep you happy in an apocalyptic setting, yet with new twists and turns and original characters. I must say, the first trilogy I'm working on blows the Werecat Saga away in my opinion. I wish I could tell you more. I'll beg the guys to let me slip you some additional info soon :)
